... But Where Are The Strings?

aah! oh my god, it's been like four days since i had internet access! and dial-up feels like methadone, slowly easing my cravings but never quite bringing the pay-off. i'm writing in a dingy hotel in warners bay, well, actually a quite newish hotel. just had a lovely seafood dish on the company tab, and i'm gonna mellow out for a bit. only worked for two hours today, but drove a heck of along way around the traps to do that work. stopped off at the golden guitar today, for like a minute, to get at least some evidence of my epic journey.

so far, since we got the place, i've spent more nights away from it than i have in it. but still, it'll be good to have somewhere to get back to. hotels get old. at least when i don't have backpackers to drink with. posted by Keegan at 7:27 pm ... 0 comments

Blogging again - Living Arrangements

Been a while, of course. but it's been a good two weeks, so i'm gonna start sharin' again. As my job picks up i'll be travellin' around the state and blogging will be somethin to do waitin around in random hotels between jobs, but today -

on friday, the lease'll be signed, and on saturday we'll have the truck, and by sunday my brother, his girlfriend, and my single self will have moved into our new digs.

the photo's from a property in the building - the place we're in, we haven't actually inspected, so kev's been poring over the blueprints trying to figure out exactly which apartment we'll be living in for the twelve month lease. for me though, i gave up caring where or what about a month ago, after several exhausting days of shitty apartments being inspected, I let kev out on his own to pick, well, whatever.
