Government Money

So this visit to Centerlink was a smooth event, I'm now on my way to youth allowance since I quit my job. I'm feeling fully justified in taking this money from the government, for several reasons;

• I'm paying Tax when the Tax-Free Threshold hasn't crept up with Bracket Creep to an estimated $13k/pa from 1979 or so. So this is Money The Government has got from me that it shouldn't've.
• I'm paying for Uni. Costello didn't. 'Nuff Said.
• Individualism has been a cancer on society, and social welfare wouldn't have to exist if there was enough of a sense of community support - I'd already be in an office job because the town'd know what trouble i've had at my old heavy lifting job.

It's only $186 a fortnight, which is enough for Booze and Fuel, so essentially I'm still living off my parents. It hasn't really grown to the point where I could rent and eat as well, which would be nice, but I guess it does provide incentive to get the fuck off my arse and get a godamn job, ya dole bludger. thinkin of lookin in the city so i can move out, closer to A Decent Uni. Keegan Hughes, Political Scientist. wouldn't it be nice...
